Breathwork Healing
Pranayama
Pranayama is the most important part of HATHA YOGA. ‘Pran’ means life force and ‘Ayama’ means expansion. Pranayama thus means the expansion of breath and its restraint. It is a conscious prolongation of inhalation(purak), retention(kumbhak) and exhalation(rechak). The practise of Pranayama enhances respiratory functions, improves circulatory system and thereby improves digestion and elimination. Combined with the asana practise, Pranayama allows to move energy more easily and thoroughly through the body especially as the lungs, muscles and nerves of respiration are refined. Learning to breathe consciously and efficiently people can relax more deeply, loosening their grip over unnecessary tension in the body. There are various types of Pranayama and every Pranayama has its unique benefit in the body.

Meditation
Meditation is the practice where an individual uses a technique as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity-to train attention and awareness and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
At the heart of Patanjali’s approach to meditation is the idea that the steadier mind is a clearer mind. We offer Meditation through various techniques with brief or extended periods of Samasthiti or sitting at the beginning or end of the class. The most beautiful truth of Meditation is that it can be done at any time and place.
